Handpicked experiences in music, theatre and visual arts

Korjaamo Culture Factory is one of the largest independent arts centres in the Nordic countries. Founded in an old tram depot in Töölö in 2004, Korjaamo now hosts three concert/theatre venues as well as a movie theater and numerous smaller creative spaces for meetings and seminars. The Vaunuhalli building is also home to Helsinki City Museum’s Tram Museum.

Korjaamo produces arts events across various fields including music, cinema, theatre and the fine arts. We produce about 400 cultural events and host about 300 private events annually. In 2016, Korjaamo's events were attended by approximately 150 000 people.

Every August, Korjaamo hosts Stage Theatre Festival, which showcases a selection of Finnish and international performances. Korjaamo’s own movie theatre Korjaamo Kino has a varied program including premieres, opera and ballet, music documentaries and a movie restaurant. Restaurant(s) and bar as well as private and corporate events are also important parts of Korjaamo's operations.

Korjaamo is a member of Trans Europe Halles, an European network of cultural centres promoting independent culture and encouraging new initiatives. Korjaamo Culture Factory is a part of Korjaamo Group, which also operates Jääpuisto (Ice Park) skating ring in the Railway Square and Helsinki Allas Sea Pool and in Katajanokka.

Korjaamo Group employs approximately 20 professionals in the fields of producing, sales, marketing, catering and customer service. Korjaamo Group's managing director is Mrs. Sara Norberg.
